• What type of community is England Oaks?
  England Oaks is a non-profit active adult retirement community that offers a maintenance-free lifestyle designed for adults age 55 and over. England Oaks offers 182 charming independent living residences situated on 63 sprawling acres.
• What does my monthly fee cover?
  Your monthly fee covers interior and exterior maintenance, lawn care, pest control, emergency response system, trash collection, transportation assistance and much more. See our Financial Options page for more information.
• May I make modifications to my home?
  Yes. England Oaks gives each resident the opportunity to personalize their home. This comes in many forms, from having a ceiling fan installed to enclosing a patio and making a more personalized area in your home. These modifications are done at resident's expense by gaining approval from the executive director.
• Does England Oaks allow pets?
  Yes, we accept pets. We do have some restrictions, which we will gladly explain when you give us a call.
• Does England Oaks provide additional resident facilities?
  Yes. Included in your monthly fee is access to our resident activity center. You may also use the heated indoor swimming pool conveniently located within our resident community center, resident library, fitness room, arts and crafts center and conference room.
• What amenities will I find in the surrounding area?
  With England Oaks being in the hub of the state, you are closer than you think to some of the greatest amenities in Louisiana. A few of the most popular are Hodges Gardens, a state-run botanical garden; Historical Natchitoches; and the Long Leaf Pine Museum. You will also find yourself just minutes from the shopping and fine dining of the Alexandria/Pineville area. The newly constructed Alexandria International Airport is just a few miles from England Oaks, making travel easy.
