Make A Difference

Our residents believe that life is not just about caring for your own community, it’s also about supporting the entire community at large. Living in Louisiana, that given spirit was never so important as in the aftermath of the Hurricane Katrina devastation. England Oaks residents responded to this natural disaster with a generous humanitarian effort, opening their homes to and taking care of friends and family members who lost so much of their lives.

About a half dozen England Oaks residents gave refuge to Gulf Coast evacuees following the hurricane. In Louisiana’s most pressing time of need, England Oaks reached out and shared their homes, their warmth and their love.
